out of town but close enough to walk into the market and central Ubud. In any case they have a free shuttle service at central points and you can call reception to come and pick you when finished. I would take up the off of a room, I don't think you will be disappointed. I tried to get in for 2 nights in Nov but was not so lucky and am staying next door at Greenfields this trip.
The only reason your walk into town might take a while is because you will probably want to stop at all the shops along the way!! Tegal Sari is on Hanoman Rd, If you walk out of the driveway and turn right there is a pizza shop called 'Bagus Pizza' which is nice if you don't want to go too far. Also if you turn left and head into town you will find 'Kafe' on the right hand side of road which has nice food.
There is also Nur Salon further up the right on Hanoman Rd, I went and saw 'Young Made' for a massage there and it was brilliant, sadly I fell over when I left there and undid his good work.....never mind I went back 2 days later!! Hope you enjoy Ubud, you will probably find that 1 night is not enough and want to stay longer on your next trip, email is open if you need more info, cheers, Kris
