melasti beach resort legian

Has anyone ever booked at the melasti beach resort direct through them? I e-mailed them and sent them a deposit and have not heard anything from them. I am getting a bit worried as other friends have told me they tried to book direct and were told they had to go through an agent as they didn't do direct bookings.
