Due to a family tragedy I had to book a one way journey for next Thursday. My original departure from Perth was to be Monday. It seems I telephoned 'outside' the price guarantee hours of operation the evening before. Be advised they close at 10PM EST. However the telephone system should have been set to 'out of hours' and not just keep me hanging on for what was 1 hour 20 minutes.
Today-the call was picked up immediately-they matched Viginblue's price of $209 less 10% so really-a one way fare, luggage, with 5 days notice for under $200...what can I say?? Thanks to Virgin for having a special and thanks to Jetstar for the price match.I take it all back-Jetstar are great with excellent customer service (but I'm still p..sed about the 1 hour 20 minutes on hold!!)
