I have one of these and it has 'must not arrive after and then the date' so you would not be allowed back in Oz even if you are a resident. If you are in a capital city there should be an office you can go to. I had to send mine to the Gold Coast and it was back within a few days. Google Resident Return Visa and you should find a phone number.
