We spent 4 nights in a villa at Pemuteran this January, it's a long drive to Sanur took us about 7 hours with a stop at Git Git and lunch.
Having said that it was well worth it, I'd happily spend a week up there next time. Make sure you go to Menjangan island amazing snorkeling. I can't help you with Taman Sari but here is a link to the Menjangan island page of my blog.
