The hours your driver works relates to how you are paying him.
Indonesians with full time jobs work 6 days a week. If you are working him through 20 days without a day off, that is quite a lot. He may substitute a friend in his place so he can attend to family matters, temple duties, or just have a day off.

You could come to an arrangement to have him work for 4 hours (say 9 to 1) in the morning, and then 4 hours in the evening (say 6 - 10), with some days as a 'all day'. Again it depends on what you are paying him.

When you go for a meal he will not expect you to invite him to eat with you, but it is expected you give him money to buy his own meal, after all he can hardly go home to eat. Around 20K should do it, maybe a little more for ciggies if you are feeling generous.
You should probably factor in providing food and drink, and cigarettes, for whatever meal times he is with you.
