this is a good place to be.
Very well located and several good cheap eateries within easy walking distance.
For a real cheap warung style meal, next door is Tom Yum, and directly oposite the entrance to KTH (20 mtrs on left) is a very popular warung with the kitchen in front so you can see what goes on.
Go to the left after leaving KTH and there are several similar places including Gong corner, and go to the right and you have Basil Leaves Thai, and Secret Garden restaurant.
You can easily walk to Alley Cat (curry) and Kori (more upmarket) and many places at the Legian St end of Poppies 1 and 2.
When you are tired of local style fare, next to Tom Yum, and a few steps from the entrance to KTH there is Kuta Steakhouse for the best low cost steak in Kuta.
Do not ignore the fare at KTH itself either, for nice ham rolls and other snack type meals.
You are lucky to get into KTH as it is so busy now with many returning customers, which speaks for itself.
Plenty of negative comments on here from people who have never stayed there...........seems to have made the place even more popular!!
