Why not get a local to sew up a large funnel shape from the netting and sew elastic around the bottom, then you just hang it above the bed as normal and stretch the bottom over the bed.
Then you just stretch open the bottom, slide in and make sure the bottom fits tight around the base of the bed and your protected quite cheaply.
