and stayed over the road at Jayakarta (apartments) my sister was there (Baleka) with her 2 kids (5 & 6) she stayed 1 night and forked out an extra $500 to come over to Jayakarta... The pool was full of construction debris, the bathroom tap head came off in her hand in the middle of the night and flooded her room and the staff gave her towels to clean it up herself... I had a friend who flew up later in the week and was also going to stay there but managed to relocate to MBR. I have read cintamu's reports and they were good but possibly since she left and 3 to 4 weeks have passed things have changed... The pool was full of fibrous like threads and my sister had a rash all over her arms, as did other guests staying there. The location is good and when the reno's are finished I would consider staying there but in the next 6 months at least NO WAY... Just my opinion.
