there are many rumours about shapelle all the time but really should it be a topic on here? I was there when she was arrested(not personally)have been on same plane as her mother and talked with her.I have also met one of the bali nine mums and although they did or have been convicted of their crimes they have no means got off easy.My aussie friends living in bali first told me the story of the arrest and why and I believe their sources were correct at the time.I had my opinion then just like everyone else and it wasnt nice but I have visited the jail a couple times over last couple years(not for myself)but for charitable reasons and its a terrible place! Im not going to speculate on what I saw or how bad the conditions are because it dosnt help the people in there.But I can assure you Shapelle has been punished many times over she was actually my daughters age when arrested and I know for sure my daughter wouldnt have survived the years in there like shapelle!We can all say she knew the penalty but I really dont think anyone can understand the conditions in there unless you see for yourself?If it had been australia she may have got a fine or short sentence but the conditions she would have been under would have been much more humane after all she still is a human person whos had her life stopped over night.Whatever she did she has suffered and deserves a bit of humanity from other people by that it means stop bringing her name up and talking about rumours that may or may not be true?I have friends effected and a friend who died from drugs Im not in anyway for drugs or sympathetic to people who sell them but I am a believer that punishment has been met already for her and the bali nine the last time I saw those young boys in the conditions they live in and the scared and no future look in their eyes and watching the parents broken hearts I surely think they didnt get off easy and Im sure they regret every moment of their past actions that got them there and are remorseful!
