combining bali/phuket next month any

suggestions as to accomodation in phuket area. Somewhere cheapish but close to shopping, entertainment, food etc but safe for solo female traveller. Any hints would be appreciated- am ok with Bali but havent been to phuket for more years than I care to admit.
