Arrived (Brissy via Darwin) Nypie Eve! 5 nts at Chamade Villa Seminyak. Airport transport was waiting and Iluh was very welcoming at the Villa. Son had emailed ahead with a shopping list ready for "Lock In"....very relaxing day!
I am a Sanur and Legian lover, but it was nice to scooter around Seminyak and see all the Villas and places other people like!
Had a La Luciola brekky, had a couple of massages at the villa from the lovely girls in the Gang close by, Hubby and Son had a surf, but we all agreed Seminyak not for us......
Next two nts at Balangan Beach (Seawiew) absolute heaven!! The walk down to the beach can be a bit hard in the heat (wear thongs! prickles!!)
But laying under the brolly eating a nasi drinking Bintang, reading, napping..oo watching the boys surf..was great.....loved the place!
Next two nts at Puri Damai Legian.....felt really at home here, though never been to Puri Damai before....very nice good staff room great with its little kitchen and open air lounge area...don't think i would like to be in the first downstairs room its a bit exposed, but we had rooms 5 & 6 upstairs. Nice and close to Jadi Warung yum, if you like hotty hot Tom Yum Kung, Mal managed half of the giant bowl.....I thought his head was going to blow off!!! such tasty food. Right across the road is Green Eden, foot massage, pedicure, cream hair bath, boys had great tension massages (neck shoulders and lower back).
Did all the usual blockies round, down ,up, beach resturants, Blue Ocean yummy seafood, Lanai so so (Zanzibar had closed on the Friday night...Tsunami precaution).Legian Beach and surf a bit yukky, water like soup...
Went looking for the Villa we have booked for Xmas.....down a neat little Gang (Durian) off Jl Werkudara.......all locked up, and forgot the Owners number.....Anyway we are very happy with the location and as long as is hasn't changed too much from the photos, should be fine....
only nine months............:( Deb
