Looking for cheap accomadations

Hello everyone,
I will be staying one month in Bali around May/June with my girlfriend.
I was wondering about renting a appartment or small villa.
Can anyone recommend cheap accomodations around Kuta ?
We're looking for a quiet place not too far from the beach.
And we definitely have a tight budget (under 50 $/day).
Does it sound doable or am i dreaming ? ;)
