I think LP books are great. The maps

are good and I don't think that it is true that entries are paid for. I have found my LP books very helpful for the general info on a place and sites of interest, not necessarily hotels and restuarants of which I think Tripadvisor is pretty good.

I have in fact pre- ordered the new LP Bali from the Book Depository to give to friends for their first Bali holiday.
