It would certainly be a good move to try and get something from the Consulate or Embassy in Australia to cover you.
Not saying that it WILL be an isue, but they have a strange (for us) outlook on things like this (along with a sometimes opportunistic one)
I hope that the equipment travels safely, and will surely be of great value where no such equipment currently exists.
