thanks toeveryone who answered. After I had posted saw earlier posting that if you can't land at your destinatiion and have to go elsewhere and get off the aircraft and then back to on to go to your destination, unfortunately you forfeit your duty free and cannot take it back on board. That has put hubby off that idea as we usually find if anything can go wrong it will for us.
