this walk is beautiful, if longish and steep in parts. you certainly need a guide. we hired made from the puri alam bali and had a great adventure. his english is serviceable. the kids were about 7 and 8 at the time and never bored. i posted about it a couple of years ago and it should be in the archives. if you want to know more, i'll leave the email open.the fish he bought there for us and later cooked stands out in my mind. there is so much to see on a walk like this.
