get near $400 return fares on their Blue Saver let alone at Christmas time. Check out the Jetstar and Virgin for Easter i'm sure they are already ridiculous. These guys seem to avoid sales on holiday periods.
I booked Christmas for $280 return Air Asia a few weeks back. After paying $500 for same flights last year, I snapped this up quick.
I think any fare under $500 for Christmas or Easter break ex Perth is reasonable. It's not uncommon to see fares for $1000 return three months out from Christmas.
Another option is to fly one way Strategic, one way Air Asia.
