because of my bad knees I requested a ground floor room. When we arrived they explained that the ground floor was noisy as staff accessed it so they put me in a deluxe room that was on lobby level. I only had to go up about 4 or 5 steps to access the passage way which was a verandah overlooking the hotel next door. The room was really lovely and the staff are very friendly. Overall one of the best hotels i have stayed at.
