The Jayakarta has the most fantastic atmosphere and breakfast, mmmhh yummy chinese porridge, but!!!! the rooms are really sad looking and badly in need of a facelift. The last time I stayed there we had a resident rat in our room, I KID YOU NOT, he lived in the roof over the wardrobe, he even came down to visit us one night, the hotels answer to the problem was to stuff the hole up with a couple of towels, we laughed at that. I have stayed there twice and loved every minute of it but won't stay there again till they have a referbish, then I'll be back there in a heartbeat.
