MMM good point but I should have been clearer. In sanur the markets
is "Come look at my shop, come look at my shop please". It was more a verbal request and constant till the people got to know you after a few days.
In Kuta I was grabbed by the arm, shop owners stepped in front of me to stop me. Followed me down the street asking all kinds of questions even when I was pleasant and said no thankyou numerous times. Even crossed the street to get your attention. Was offered a taxi fare in which the guy held out a small vial in his hand and when I said NO he closed it again and put it behind his back.
When I first went to Bali I found the ladies in the markets in Sanur a bit confronting at first but after being to Kuta they are far more pleasant in their approach. I was trying not to make a huge thing of this because I understand their thought processes in why they take that approach but in Kuta as I siad very aggressive.
Cheers for the feedback and yes doctor Rudy is worth the visit..
