spend close to 10,000 dollars a year on their ceremonies, and that is their choice, they love to outdo their neighbour, they even buy better fruit (imported) to show off at Temple.
I now refer to a lot of the Balinese, not all, but most of our neighbours as More Balinese, as they want more, more, more, more. We moved here to live a simple lifestyle and validate their simple lifestyle but times have changed and now they just buy buy buy, they can afford it so that's up to them, but they are not struggling, Balinese are not struggling that work in tourism, you are kidding yourself if you think they are, sorry, but its the hard facts, they only struggle now because they have gotten themselves into so much debt for wanting so much.
