I have been riding scooters around singaraja and lovina for 11 years and the traffic is alot busier these days, but like anywhere you just have to be careful. u will easily find somewhere to rent a bike in lovina, just make sure u have the rego papers for bike well secured under seat. watch out for trucks driving along main road at night to java they arent so polite on the road. But saying that i luv riding my scooter up north, only way to go and explore the area freely :)
