We have stayed here a couple of times, first time in around 2004 and had a couple of rooms around the back pool. It was fabulous, again breakfast amazing, service personalised and position easy. Second time in April 2009 we had a room backing on to the new hotel next door which was not so good. We did manage to move and spend a couple of days on the second floor by the back pool which was great. All the bottom floor Alam rooms around the pool have been refurbished, which was being done whilst we were there. If you can get one of these then it is a fabulous place to stay. Hope I've helped a little bit.
