We had the same problem...Booked the accommodation for July 2 - July 16. My family were alright as we booked last September through frequent flyer points. Our friends who are travelling with us, Hoping we would all be on the same flight with Jet*. Jet* prices have just gone up and up. The last time I looked it was going to be $7100 for 2 adults and 2 children...GASP. Was really lucky and found that Strategic airlines had a sale. 2 Adults 2 children $ 2365.00 BUT we are from Melbourne and the flights leave from Brisbane. So domestic flights the day before and 2 nights accommodation (return) just under $4000.00
You just have to keep looking and subcribe to every web site you can. or just book it. We are going to Bali in Melbournes school holidays.
