I think I would be as forceful (or more so) with the agent that is giving this info, and not assisting with alternate accom for you, as you are being with people who are trying to help you on here.
You will note that I have stated that the issue is probably with the agent, and not the OP (Original Poster.......that's YOU)
Incidentally, still no outcry from the hundreds put out by this "closure".
