The sand pool is meant to have sand. its a beach kind of pool.. not just sand from people dirtying it (incase u got the wrong idea from sand in pool) i like the pools they are really nice!
Rooms though not so nice.. for the price you can find way nicer > The staff are really nice tho.
The hotel used to be Contiki Resort.. thus the party reputation..so I would say the rooms got trashed a fair bit and dont seem to have been kept up to standard.
