I travelled to bali via jakarta in 2009. we had fairly limited time between our connecting flight to denpasar so we were keen to get our visas and find our bags and check in. after an extended wait in the VOA line up, we quickly grabbed our bags and began trying to find our airline's check-in facilities. much to our horror we relised theres more than one terminal - we were in terminal 1 and had to get to terminal 3 which was 5-10min taxi ride! we eventually got on the plane but only because of some very friendly and flexiable staff who bent the rules for us as it was the last flight of the night (nothing like any airline staff found here in australia!) so just double check the terminal you are arriving and leaving from!
