In the mall in Centro there is a small stall that sell birkenstocks it is on the second level on the left hand side. Also in Australia there are planet earth and Tsonga these are all handmade not cheap though but gee are they comfortable. There are some others but I cant remember the names at the moment. We have a shop in a beach side suburb that specialises in all these type of shoes and they are great. You could google it and see what it comes up with. Good luck.
