It depends on the ticket you have. Read the fine print - you can't possibly rely on strangers who have no idea of your ticket conditions to advise you.
Perhaps if you bought travel insurance beforehand you might be covered for cancellations &/or deferrals.
In any case, it doesn't cost much to change flights, depending, of course, on the type of ticket you have. This is something only you can resolve.
