There will be no problems.
when you arrive at the lodge take it easy and go for a swim then a walk around to get the idea of the place, sit on your balcony and watch everything from there, then go for a swim as day trippers are leaving.
Book a table for dinner and breakfast in the Lion restaurant as soon as you check in so you can get a window table ( a must for breakfast)
Do the night feed (a must)
Get up quite early and after breakfast take a walk around before all the day trippers arrive its much cooler and relaxed plus all the animals are lively in the cooler morning as they are being set up by the handlers, feed the baby elephant early in the morning for great un rushed pics
after staying the night you will know the layout of the park pretty well so you can pick your time for bus tour and rides.
personally if i had done the Safari park on a day trip i dont think i would have enjoyed it and possibly left after one or two hours like the other poster said but the overnighter makes it a very worthwhile and memorable experience.
