Got back early Dec with Dengue. Very ill. I used 80% DEET Bushmans Lotion in Bali and still got it. I am a healthy person.
I think it is great that people are talking about it on the forum. Better to be aware. It is not scaremongering. The fever is rather horrible and children and infants are at great risk. The fogging that goes on around the hotels is useless. It is done to appease the tourist. But does not work. I live in Far Northern Queensland and we have some rather large outbreak here at the moment. It is getting further south as time goes on.

Also the Rabbies Epidemic in Bali is alive and very well. Have family living there and it is not being reported but is worse than thought.
