We have been on a day event and overnight stay. Must say, if you can afford to go the overnight stay well worth it. Next year planning another overnight stay. Our famiy/friends group is huge 20-30 of us at one time. Tinggading (our mum) organised both times for us all, both times hiring a driver (mind you it was a large bus to accommodate for all of us. When we stayed overnight, went out early in the afternoon so we could use the swimming pool near our accommodations, WOW what an experience swimming in the pool and having zebras, elephants and the like near and close by. We had our driver come back and take us all to Sanur for dinner (after pre dinner drinks on the balconies of course!). Everyone did their own thing in Sanur, lots of restaurants to choose from and entertainment. Great for young and old.
This year in August went on a day trip again bus organised with driver, first timers were with us and had an absolute ball, going again next year in September and will all be staying overnight.
We had around 18 of us for the day trip and stuck together for the initial part of the safari drive, photos with orangutangs then watch the animal show. Basically after that, every one went their own way and we all ended up meeting at the pool area which now has a couple of water slides. Was great to be able to all go on the bus together, as there were so many of us (but we all fit in the bus) we were the first to go (and we were the only people lined up as well. Great day had by everyone, and we look forward to spending the night out there again and hope to be able to do the night safari on this trip. For those looking at going to the Safari park - it's a must do and enjoy!!!!!!
