Hi David, In Ubud at the moment. The Tropical Restaurant (part of Bali wide chain) is in Monkey Forest rd just near the markets. Have eaten there twice. I have found the chicken and meat dishes to be very high quality and well cooked. It is slightly too salty for my taste and I don't eat seafood so I cannot comment on that! Good value, yes. Also a refrigerator with cups and bricks of haagen vaas ice cream! Yum but don't expect to eat it immediately as the freezer is VERY efficient. We walked back to our villa along Monkey Forest Rd and it was perfect when we arrived.
Will be trying the Sita Organic Restaurant tomorrow.
