I had an email from Puri Naga offering two nights for $US60 breakfast not included. Their high season was Rp.600.000 per night.
Generally speaking I no longer recommend this hotel. The reason being that it is well past it's useby date!!! However the location on the beach at the end of Jln 66 is great. Had a couple of run ins at reception too and I never have problems in any other budget hotel I've stayed in.
The problems were My booking in their book filled out at check in to include an extra night for a late check out was altered so that it did not cover the late check out for which I was happy to pay a full extra night. Luckily I had my original booking made a couple of months earlier showing the correct date. They were still looking helplessly at their book when I noticed that the number in the date part looked to be altered and when I lifted it up I found they had forgotten to alter the duplicate underneath. I felt sorry for the couple who sat in reception waiting for their room but stuck to my guns.
Also if you stay there it is a good idea to buy your $US before you leave your home country because they use the worst exchange rate to change your $US into Rupiah that I have ever come across at any hotel that quotes in $US. I understand all of them give a lower than street rate to cover fluctuations but this was totally ridiculous. I stood my ground again and they phoned the boss who changed it a little. Unfortunately my husbands Auntie who stayed there with us for a while but had already left got well and truly ripped off on the rate.
So what I am saying is if you can't find anywhere or just want to book 2 nights while you look around for something else you could try emailing them. Just be aware that it is not "The Ritz" and plan to take $US if poss, even buying them at the airport or off the money changer in Bali will work out better than their rate (unless they have changed their ways) Also KEEP YOUR EMAIL confirmation of dates and price!
