I was on my way to Sydney airport to go to Bali when I received a call from Jetstar to say our return flight on 6 December had been cancelled and that we could fly home on 7 December via Singapore and Melbourne - of course we said no thanks so they put us on a direct flight from Denpasar to Sydney on 8 December. This was great, 2 more days in Bali but I must get on to Jetstar about the extra accommodation costs. When they called me to change our dates they told me I would have to get in touch with our travel insurance (?)and when I did, they of course told me, no, Jetstar are responsible for your fees. As it turned out, we didn't end up flying home until 10 December as my granddaughter had to have an emergency operation on 7 December at BIMC. Cannot recommend this hospital enough and also TID for arranging our accommodation for the extra days. Had dramas with getting on a flight home through TID but got there in the end so that's all that matters. Thanks to all involved
