Just back from 17 days at the beautiful island of Bali. We stayed at Cendana Resort in Ubud. Loved it!! The only complaint was the pool was a bit warm. Breakfast was ok, not a huge variety but what was there was good, especially the pancakes!! We stayed for 7 nights and aswe have been to Bali about 10 times we just walked around and didn't do any touristy things. Meet a great driver in Ubud who would love more work. Then we were off to Febris in South Kuta. I liked this hotel as well. Husband didn't like all the traffic and it is the busiest I have ever seen. I have no complaints at all with this hotel except no pancakes at breakfast!!! Close to heaps of great restaurants and walking distance to Kuta Square which we did every second day. Loved shopping at Jenny's set price shop. I feel she had a bigger range than Diannes but both ladies were lovely to deal with. Think the Husband and I are a bit "Bali"ed out so are going to try Thailand next year. Any recommendations for Thailand would be appreciated!! Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
