you won't be able to avoid looking like a first timer. If you're concerned you won't get as good a bargain as a frequent traveler to Bali, don't worry too much about it. There's always someone who gets a better price no matter how often you go there ;)
Untrue about coloured shopping bags however it's better to take your own reusable bags from home because Bali, and home, can certainly do without the extra plastic.
