Dont attempt to take them out yourself or get someone else to do it unless they are a health care professional. You have already had problems with your wound and dont want to risk the chance of infection because of short cuts. Another reason for getting a Dr or Nurse to look and see if they should all ocme out in one go or half one day and half the next. This is to see that you have good "union" on your suture line and prevents the risk of further infection. Go see a local GP, they will be cheap and do the right thing for you. There is no reason why you cant swim after the wound "drys" but only go in a pool. The sea water is filthy and could be a risk of infection for you. But mostly, relax and go have a great holiday, it sounds like you need it! Cheers, carmel
