With all due respect to those who have offered genuine opinions on this particular question it really isn't the place to be seeking what could be answers to complex legal questions. I believe, and suggest, that your very best option would be to visit a website, such as www.ag.gov.au/www/agd/rwpattach.nsf/VAP/(CFD7369FCAE9B8F32F341DBE097801FF)~BPolicy+of+overseas+travel+for+parolees.pdf/$file/BPolicy+of+overseas+travel+for+parolees.pdf, which does have legal advice right from the horses mouth. Just by reading the content of this site you very quickly gain the impression that travel may not be as easy as has been suggested by many of the answers and that the parole officer who suggested it would probably be OK was a long way short of the mark.

Same thing applies to a lot of other very important questions raised on the BTF. Most times if the question is complex check with an official website before making a decision.

My opinion(s) only.

Cheers

Maverick
