The group of restaurants here are the original, best and most honest. I don't go now because I really did them to death at one time and as others have said there are plenty of sunset seafood restaurants. For first timers however I think it is very nearly essential!!! Great atmosphere and the fish in that location has never turned up on my table cremated. OH yes, an afterthought! Your driver may well want to take you to the other group of restaurants who pay the drivers BIG commissions on your bill of course! I used to say I was meeting a friend at such and such restaurant. Worked like a charm. They may tell you that the one of your choice has recently closed down, burnt down or otherwise come to a grisly end, just laugh and insist!
Have a great time and don't underestimate the simple things like Kuta Beach at sunset sitting at one of the many beach eskies with a beer.
