You People? Are you talking to the ONE person who hazarded a guess that it may be the road to Singaraja?
Not being a language expert like you Smithers, most could naturally assume it to be Bali. Now I would have thought that just because the language may be Javanese it would not necessarily mean that the footage was shot in Java. It sure does look like the road down to Singaraja but I'm sure many mountain roads in Asia could look very similar.
Unless one knows every road in Indonesia like the back of their hand, and I'm sure Mr. Smithers sees the back of his hand quite often, after you pointed out the language bit, could there be a chance that maybe it was shot in Bali by Javanese on holiday?
