It sounds like Ramayana dept store on Jk Diponegoro and the moneychanger is PT Central kuta so no reason you cant change at any other branch.They used to be in mostly kodak shops but now they are in a lot of Circle K shops.or the head office is on Jl Raya Kuta,right next to the bridge.
