that still linger in the past, and I love them for it, they share what little they have with their neighbours, they don't have mobile phones or electricity or running water and they believe in God first, family and friends equal second and themselves last, their children laugh and play with each other without toys and they are proud people who do not beg, they work to eat, not to have materialistic things.
These people are why I love Bali and have helped me to realise there is more to life than working hard to make money. They want the same for their children that they have had and that their ancestors have had, peace and love of everyone around them, they don't want it easier for their children, they want their children to learn all the same lessons they have learnt ready for their next life.
I have truly learnt from them.
