Hi I have just returned on Sunday from a week at the Puri Raja!!
I have stayed at the Melasti Beach six months ago and I would say without a doubt to stay at the Puri Raja. Rooms are very clean, bathrooms are spacious and the pool nearer to the beach is outstanding with the swim up bar. Food is great and breakfast couldn't be faulted. Staff are good and if you require anything they are very prompt. Also it is a smaller complex compaired to the Melasti. Just book in advance to avoid disappointment.
The Melasti is ok, but it is older and a little bit run down. I did notice though that they have fixed up the restaurant overlooking the beach. Their grounds and gardens are very nice though and breakfast a was a huge buffet.
