Are all good suggestions. Have stayed at Hotel Tjampuhan & Alam Indah and (even as I type) am luxuriating at Alam Shanti. It was all I could do to shake off the languor and post. Have not stayed at a bad place in Ubud but these are the best of the 10 or so I have. All are a little out of town but have shuttles. The Alam shuttles are a little more accomodating. None has a TV - but who cares? Back to looking at and listening to the rain, as dark falls (sigh). Don't hate me...
