The exception that proves the rule....On this forum there was a much talked about occasion when a combination of a very very sick manager having to leave at no notice for a lengthy convalescence, lack of knowledge of the computerised system by those remaining and a party of inconsiderate people turning up pretending that they had six (I think it was six from memory) rooms booked and no way of checking this causing rooms that were booked genuinely not being available when the guests arrived. The chaos that ensued was pretty much a result of several factors colliding messily. Never seen this happen before nor since at this hotel. Never at the other "below brochure" budget hotels where we always stay. *Just my opinion genuinely*
In fact a certain well known Sanur hotelier very kindly moved two simply lovely Norwegian girls into his very own villa to avoid this kind of situation recently....... ;-)
