Our family stayed in the Matahari Bungalows in Legian St while a large group of footballers were there around the AFL grand final time. Although they were a bit noisy sometimes, generally they were good and I think that if the daughter's group is away from the Bounty ( party central ), I think they will also tend to be quieter. Not so much encouragement from other groups to go stupid. Matahari Bungalows is in a good location, about 150mr up Legian St from the nightclubs. It has good sized rooms, a great pool area and is reasonably priced. Start talking to your daughter & any of her friends now, that may be going over about the pitfalls of nightlife in Bali & how to stay safe in groups. I have 4 daughters and when we're in Bali, they go to the nightclubs and have a great time, but stick together. The only thing that happened to my oldest daughter was when she walked out the front of the Bounty nightclub on her own and a group of kids surrounded her, joking & bumping her, then she found she had no money left. A lesson learned. If they are that keen on going, start giving the advice now, so that you have more confidence in them & less sleepless nights.
