Just because your daughter screwed up, doesnt mean all kids do. And spouting that she had a private school education.. i mean.. seriously, who gives a toss.. that doesnt make them better people (as you've found out).
I actually think you are being harsh on your daughter - she made a mistake - you make out like she's an absolute waste.
I myself spent many a holiday in the UK and abroad between the age of 16 and 20 with groups of between 20 and 30 similar ages people. We never got in any trouble, none of us ever got arrested / injured / booted out of hotels. And guess what.. we all went to state schools.
I have just returned from bali, and yes there were schoolies in our hotel.. some of them were complete twats. Others were perfectly lovely, and well behaved.
Like i've already said - just because your daughter 'let you down' - doesnt mean all kids do. And give your daughter a break, she was having a laugh - it went wrong, and she's learning a lesson the hard way. Any decent parent would be supportive of thier child no matter what - but then i cant imagine that someone who places such an emphasis on private school education effects on the behaviour of their child - probably isnt a decent parent anyway.
