If you are staying two nights, I would suggest staying in the city as the airport is an hour away and in the middle of nowhere.
I stayed at Novotel for <$100 per night (book through accor hotels website). Nice clean hotel with pool. The best thing is the location in the heart of KL. It is across the road from Pavillion shopping mall which has a great food court, and 5 min walk from Petronas Towers which has more shopping!
